Biography: Mr. Raab was admitted to the New York Bar in 1970. He is also admitted to the New Jersey and Florida Bars, the United States District for the Southern District of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Raab graduated from State University of Buffalo where he received his B.A. in 1966 and his J.D. in 1969. Mr. Raab is the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Labor Law. He serves as a long term member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and the New York State Bar Association (Member of the Labor Committee, 1984-1987). Mr. Raab specializes in representing multi-employer benefit funds and labor organizations. He served as general counsel to one of the largest labor unions in the country giving guidance and instruction for compliance with the full gamut of labor laws, including the National Labor Relations Act, the Labor-Management Relations Act and E.R.I.S.A. Mr. Raab has handled numerous labor-management industry-wide negotiations. Mr. Raab is also counsel to various multi-employer fringe benefit funds, where his advice and oversight is highly regarded.
